Investigating a Chemical Change

Investigating a chemical change
Travis

In science a couple of days ago we were investigating chemical changes. I personally liked this experiment because I like chemistry. We filled a 20oz bottle a fourth of the way with vinegar. We also got a balloon and put a spoon of backing soda in it. We put the balloon on the bottle and dropped the backing in. Right before our eyes a chemical change occurred. The liquid fizzed up and blew carbon dioxide into the balloon. I thought that this experiment was pretty cool.

Are science experiment was fun. We took some backing soda and vinegar. Are balloon blew up and kept on going then we had to take it apart. It was like acid. It was easy for my group. We had a lot of fun. There were a lot of bubbles coming form the bottom. There were a lot of people in or group to work so it was pretty easy. It was fun and I got an A.

Producing Carbon Dioxide

A few days ago we did an experiment with baking soda and vinegar. In the following sentences I am going to tell you what we did. First we put baking soda in a balloon then we attached the balloon to the top of a bottle with vinegar in it. Before we mixed them we predicted what would happen. Then we mixed them. The to substances caused a chemical reaction. The two substances gave off a gas called carbon dioxide. The gas rose up and blew up the balloon attached to the top making it bigger. Then the experiment ended.

An experiment
Chad

When I was in science we did an experiment. It made carbon dioxide. It was made it with vinegar and baking soda. You had to put the vinegar in a cup and the baking soda in a balloon. If you put the the balloon on the top of the cup and then pour in the baking soda it will fill up the balloon with carbon dioxide .

Exploring chemical reactions
By: Levi Capper

In Science class, we have been learning about how chemicals react. A few days ago, we had an experiment with three substances, baking soda, vinegar, and water. We put about half a bottle of water into a bottle, then we put baking soda into a balloon and dumped it in. The baking soda settled at the bottom. Then, we did the same thing but with vinegar. The balloon bloated up and the solution rose higher and higher. I liked this experiment because we got to know how chemicals react. Also this month, we have been learning about the periodic table and it’s elements. There are a lot of elements with really long and weird names. The three types of elements are metals, nonmetals, and artificially made things. I like to study the elements and chemicals because you get to learn what you can touch and what you can’t.

Success!
