QUIZ BOWL 1999 Quiz Bowl is an academic competion held between two teams. This is a double elimination tournament with competition being held on two different day. Questions are worth 10 points and bonus questions are worth 20 points. The area class D schools who compete are Mason County Eastern, Brethren, Baldwin, Walkerville, FreeSoil, Manistee Catholic, Pentwater and Onekama. The Onekama Quiz Bowl Team competed at the West Shore Community College competition on February 5. They came out in First Place! Hear all about it from Coach French..... Members of the Quiz Bowl Team are Seniors: Luke Goodrich and Shawn Allen; Juniors: Zane Story, Dan Bowman, Luke Balmer, Josh Savory, Toria Miller, Amy Wolfe, Angela Deising and Jennifer Werts; Sophomores: Nathan Harju, Ed Bradford and Adam Hudson, and Freshmen: Adam Werts and Adam Graham. Their advisor is Debra French. **** The 1998 Team did a Super Job. They won the Districts and went to the state competition.Our Trip to State 1998
