Jessica B., Christina H., Sheena S, and Chelsee W. created their altar to pay respect to Selena.

As part of their cultural studies, students were given the opportunity to bake "pan de muerto" or bread of the dead. From an original Mexican recipe, these breads were shaped into skulls and crossbones.

In celebration of the Mexican holiday El Dia de los Muertos, Miss Tharp's Spanish 1 students spent time reading and creating projects which celebrated this holiday.

Princess Diana was honored by several groups of students. This lovely altar was created by Neysa G., Heather M., Jaime S., and Alexis V.
