It takes a lot of work to raise animals for the fair. You have to exercise lambs every day. You have to tame down a calf, goat and other big animals and get them to lead. Ducks don't need hair cuts for the show like other animals. They clean themselves for the show if you give them some clean water to swim in. Then we put baby oil on the bills and feet to make them shiny. I also trim the toe nails so I don't get scratched if they get scared.
