Hi, I play with fireworks without permission. Sometimes it works sometimes it hurts. I use M-60, firecrackers and fireballs . I’ve had five firecrackers blow up in my hand at once. None of the M-60 ever worked.

It ended very quickly too. The last day I did it... errrrrrum! My Dad caught me with firecrackers. I wasn’t aloud to touch a single firecracker or any other fireworks for months. Don’t ever play with you no what without permission.

When I was in first grade I wasn’t eating or drinking enough, and that’s when I got sick. Whenever I ate I threw up and then finally I had to go to the hospital. When I got there I had to take two shots not including the I.V. .I had to stay there for two days. When I got up to go to the bathroom I had to bring that with me. Whenever I wanted something I had to push a button. Also I got to have some popcicles when I was there. After I took the I.V. I got to go home. When I was about to go I got all sorts of stuff. When I got home I didn’t get to go to school for just about a month. And my mom had to go to my school and get my papers that I had to do. When I went to back to school again she gave back all my papers I did.

Ceder point is in sandusky Ohio, and its a long ways away. But it is really fun once you get there. When we got to our hotel we went swimming , and ate pizza and went to bed. At 8 00-8 30 we got up. The hotel was only ten minnutes away from Cedar point. The gates open at 10:00am. we got there at 9 00. One hour later the gtes opened! Yeah! Right when my couisn 15 and I we rushed to the first roller coaster. The Rapter! It is said to be the best steel roller in the USA. We went on the rapter twice. That we went on the Mantis! The mantis is a roller coaster, and a big one! you stand up in this one, and you go more than 65 mph. There is one big loop. I have a picture that they take on some of the roller coasters. After that we went back to the hotel at 12 00 o’ clock that's when it closes.

When I moved from Arizona we packed up all our things in a big yellow moving van. We even had to put some stuff in our van! My dad drove the moving van and my brother rode with him. So, my mom, my sister, and I rode in our van. It took 3 long days and 2 nights in the car before we got to Michigan. Finally, we saw a sign that said “WELCOME TO MICHIGAN” in big blue letters. We spent our first night in Michigan at a hotel, and the next morning we saw snow on the ground! For the first time ever I touched snow, and it was cold! The next day we got into our rental house and a while after that we moved into our new house. It was a long trip, but it was fun.

One weekend about a week before school my dad took me Night fishing on Manistee Lake. we left home at about 8:30 p.m. my dad was a little upset at our late start. We got the boat in the water at about 9:00 p.m. We turned on the engine and took off to the far side of the lake.

My dad located some submerged docks. He said they came from the logging period of course they were above the water then. He also said that the fish like the docks because the docks gave them shelter and a dark place to hide.

We caught a few rock bass but not what we were fishing for. So we tried some submerged docks on the other side of the lake. we did not catch anything there so we went home.

Ear pearcing, It really hurts at the begining, but then it doesn’t hurt at all. My mom and sister was going to aunts to get there hair done. I went with them because my dad was at work. So I was there and my mom and my sister were getting their hair done. I asked if I could get my ear pearced.

She said that I could, So I sat in a chair. My aunt pulled out a little gun and put the earing in it and she shot it into my ear. I know you think it will bleed, but it doesn’t. I had to keep it in for two months.

Every one has traveled places, but right now I am going to tell you about when I went to Yellow Stone National Park. The first thing we had to do is take a car ferry across Lake Michigan. The carferry is called the Badger. After we got off the carferry we where in Manitiwic, Wisconsin.

Then we started going to Yellowstone National Park, but we stoped at Crazy Horse Memorial, Mt. Rushmore National Memorial. We also drove on Needles Highway. The needles are huge rock formations. When we got there we went to see Old Faithful. We stayed in YellowStone National park for 5 days. We seen so many buffalo it is unbelievable. We also seen a few moose, and 1 grizzly bear (from a safe distance). We started getting a little homesick so we started going home. On the way home we stoped at the Mall of America. We stayed there for an hour or two.

Then we started to go home. We went through the upper peninsula and across the Mackinaw Bridge. After that it took us 3 hours to get home.

Bears, one of my fears- But I have never saw a live bear before, one that wasn’t in a cage at least. My neighbor saw a bear before, many times, and those bears were in my back yard! ( The bears are at our cabin, not at my house in Onekama.) At first, we didn’t know if he was joking, or really telling what he saw. So the next day we went there, only because we wanted to know if there was a bear or not.

“Crunch.., Crack... Snap!!” When I heard those sounds I jumped up so high thinking that it was the bear that had visited last night. “It was only a squirrel, don’t get so jumpy!” my dad said. I waited to see the squirrel, and sure enough, here came a black squirrel jumping off from a tree limb. I stopped for a moment, and starred at the squirrel until it ran off. Then I caught up with my dad.

That bear sure did dammage! Leaves that were once in a pile were all over the yard! Some smaller trees were broken and scratched, and there was dirt all over our front porch too! Sometimes I wish that I had saw the bear, but then again, maybe not!!

The 18 girls on the fifth grade girl basketball team had a game on September 22, 1998 and we lost our game! But we didn’t have a lot of practice so we didn’t know what we were doing. A lot of the girls were all over the court! The Bear lake team had a lot of practice plus they already had two games before our game. The score was bad ‘‘ I will tell you later’’. At half time we were all tired already. Then it was the end of the game. The Bear lake team had won of course we lost! Any way the score was 8 to 39.

On January 30,1998, my mom had to go to the hospital. She was going to have a baby. She kept on having contractions. After my mom and my dad left, we watched a movie. Then a friend came over to pick up Jacob so he could sleep at their house. After a half an hour or so, my dad called and said that my mom might have to have a C-section because the baby was breech. My sister and I were scared and started crying.

Later, the doctor performed a new procedure called “external version” where the baby’s position faced downward. In the morning, we did the usual things and waited for a friend to pick us to go to church. Before she came, my dad came home and said “You have a new baby brother. His name is Benjamin.”

At first we didn’t know what his middle name was going to be, but after a few days we called him “Benjamin James Bowman.” The day he was born, I got to hold him. In about two days we took him home. Right now he is eight months old. I love my baby brother.

My name is Gini and I have been playing basketball for two years and this is my third. The first year I played I was nervous because I had never played before. Then I got the hang of it and we won most of the games. When we got to the tourament we lost.

My second year I played alot because I was the tallest and sometimes I jumped or played point. When I got tired I told the coach and they took me out.

This year we played one game so far and we lost. Hopefully we will win next time which is October 1,1998.

Were you born with a problem that isn’t some thing like flu or a cold? Well my brother was.

My brother Austin is four right now, he plays soccer, runs allot and plays like any other 4 year old kid. But Austin wasn’t always like this, in fact we didn’t even know if he would live to be 4 years old.

When he was born his lips were blue and he stoped breathing. He was rushed to Butterworth hospital for surgery. me and my brother Donny went up to the hospital with my grandma and grandpa to see Austin. He looked like an astronaut with the glass oxygen helmet on.

After a year or so he had a second surgery. Now studies show that he won’t have a nother surgery until he’s 9 or so. Thank gosh.
