It was fun showing my new horse, Magnum, at the fair. I got one first place, one second, two sixths, and one fifth. I did barrels. Magnum ran and it was fun. I got a third place in barrels.

It is lots of work taking a horse to the fair. We took him in a horse trailer. My sister's horse and my brother's horse were in the trailer too. We cleaned him up for the fair. We brushed him real good. I had to stay there and watch the horses. I had to make sure they had water. They were only there one day because they didn't like it there. They were missing the other horses at home and they didn't like to stay in the stalls. We have four horses. My mom has a horse too.

Leah showed many animals at the fair this summer. We were sorry to hear that her family had moved away. We hope she is enjoying her new school and will write to our class.
