Last Thursday Lucas and Collin came to our class. We got to ask questions about basketball. A couple of the questions were repeats. Like everyone wanted to know what it felt like before a game. I asked one question, but it was a repeat. Joey asked about 100! Most of them were non-subject related. He asked, "How do you like going to John's house to get a tan?" All of the questions got an answer. Our classroom was decorated with basketball stuff. I think this was really fun, I hope we do it again. ....Jessica

In reading class we interviewed Lucas and Collin two varsity players on Mr. Finan's team. They came in on March 11 and we all asked questions about the things they did. Our show was called Portager's Quest. We made signs and other stuff. I thought it was really cool and I hope we can do it again. I hope this paragraph gets on the Internet! ...Jason

We Interviewed Collin and Luke. Here's what we learned.......

On Thursday Colin Fink and Lucas Balmer came to our class. We got to plan everything. We asked questions like, What do you want to do when you get older. The name of our show was Portager Quest. Then some people got different parts like introducing them and ending the show. Then all the cheerleaders did a cheer for them. We did the cheer "Onekama". It was a very fun time. ...Kelsey

We had Collin and Lucas come in and we asked them about basketball. Joey and I asked the most and we were not allowed to ask any more. I asked Lucas more things than I asked Collin. I like Lucas as a friend. He is the best on the team, I think. Lucas is an aid for Mr. Finan. Joey, Matt and I always go and talk to him about basketball. ...Jake

Thursday, March 11, two of the biggest Varsity basketball players came in for an interview. We made up our own little show called Portager's Quest. We all made up two questions to ask Lucas and Collin. We spent about half an hour asking questions and then answering them. For example: Collin, what do you do before every basketball game? He said, "I do my hair. You know I have to look good for a game!" UI thought that was funny. Then our fifth grade cheerleaders did our cheer ONEKAMA. Then we said bye and good luck for the district game. We lost. Oh, well. Next year. ....Nichole
