Gini's Hyperstudio is about Conifers. It will be great.

Here are just some of the photographs the fifth grade students took of their classmates. They worked at being both subject and photographer. The photographs were inserted on the "author" page of their first Science HyperStudio presentation.

Looking at flower parts helps us learn how they reproduce. Jessica used to think they were just to pretty up the world. Now she has a new point of view.

Smile for the camera! See Emily being photographed.

Luke is working on "How a flower makes a seed" for his presentation. When he gets to the computer he will draw a flower with all the parts.

Cody's photographer did a great job.

Amber's partner had no trouble getting a good photograph. She's always smiling.

Isn't it amazing how a plant covers its seeds with something as delicious as an apple?

The Kalanchoe plant reproduces by making young plants around the edge of its leaf. They fall and grow.

Erin enjoyed making a HyperStudio presentation. Using a projector, she was able to show all the students her program.

Well, Nichole, have you located the Pistil, Stamen, Ovule, Petal, and Pollen? Can you remember how these all work together to create a seed? The test is coming on Friday.

Dustin is thinking deeply how he will draw flowers in his Hyper Studio presentation. We can hardly wait for him to project his program on the wall.

Chelsea is impressed that conifers have two kinds of cones. Will you use this information in your presentation, Chelsea?

If we can keep Kayla away from the sound and movie buttons, she'll finish a great program by Friday!

We are never quite sure what Jeremy is working on, but he is smiling so it has got to be good. (That's not the NFL net, is it Jeremy? No flowers there.)
