Girls Basketball

The fifth grade girls played basketball this year. The first game we lost 8 to 39. The second one we won 14 to 12. The third game we won, but don't know the scores. The fourth one we lost but just by two points. The fifth game we lost 12 to 20. The sixth one we lost 11 to 24. The seventh one we won but don't know the score. Then the two last ones we didn't get the score. We lost a lot of games but we had a lot of fun playing them. I enjoyed playing basketball and hope to play it again next year. Emily B

Our basketball team was sort of good. We lose most of our games. We lose 4 times and won 3. I guess It's good for us because It was our first season. We had to start late because of our new school. So that gave the other teams a chance to win. This one game we won by a lot. The score was like 28 to 10. Our coach was Ms.Selin. She was really cool. Next year we have Mr. Thorr. It's going to be a lot of fun next year. I made this basketball team called the (AAU.) It's the most improved basketball games you can ever be in. You get t o travel around Michigan like, Lansing, Detroit, Traver City, Grand Rapids, and Big Rapids. That's where we have to go. Basketball is really fun to a big tom boy like me. ...Mandie

I was in basketball and it was really fun. We did not win all the time. We started school late so we did not have a lot of practice before the first game. We improved a lot from the first game. Are coach Miss Selin was a great one. She taught us all she new. I made one basket the whole season. I did not have the time to score a lot because I did not get the ball a lot. Some people did not score at all. I am going to play again next year. ...Emily E.
