Here Nathan and Nichole demonstrate how Miss Schwarz taught them to put their instruments together.

Joleen and Amber S are practicing in the fifth grade classroom.

At our first concert I was scared. Then I was okay. I was thinking that the people might not clap, but they did. What did you do for your first concert? ...Cody B.

This is great! We should play our instruments in class every day! Mrs. Eldridge says we sound wonderful.

I was pretty nervous at first. Then we finished our first song, and I felt a lot better. Then it went pretty smooth. Before I knew it our turn was over, then came the rest of the band grades. They were awesome. I stopped to think that maybe one day I might be that good. ...John W. Percussionist

Andrea, Cheyenne and Amber S show their talent.

Our First Band Concert was a huge success. The audience clapped loudly to show they appreciated our talent.

Katie, Jessica and Emily B are warming up for their very first band concert. It's an exciting moment.

I think the band concert went well. I think everyone did their best. Miss Schwarz did a nice job putting on the concert, then we went up on the bleachers to sit and watch the rest of the concert. It all went well until my mouth-piece dropped. It hit the floor with a big cling. I hope that never happens again! ...Jessica K.

Curtiss, Jeremy, and Nathan really know how to play. Every note is perfect.

Chris seems to have the tallest instrument in the band.

When I heard about the band concert, I was very nervous. I was so nervous I almost fell out of my chair. But the days kept coming and coming and coming. Then it was the day. I was so excited I don't know what happened, but I got over my fears. Then we went into the gym. And we started to play. It was so exciting because it was my first concert. I hope we do it again. ....Chris P.
