The Blue Balloons were the first bakers.

"We baked bread one day at school. It looked like a caterpillar moving in the bread maker," stated Alyssa

"I liked watching the bread raise and being made. It was very good," commented Sara M.

"I liked eating it. I likes watching it bake. It tasted good," was what Ryan F. said.

The Green Balloons did their baking on Thursday.

The story for this week was "Tony's Bread". So on Wednesday the Blue Balloons made bread in the machine. On Thursday it was the Green Balloons turn, and finally the Red Balloons made bread on Friday. Each loaf took about 3 and a half hours to go through the complete cycle. It really made the room smell great! At the end of each day we would slice the loaf of bread. The group that made the bread that day would get a full slice and the other two groups would get a quarter slice to sample. By the end of the week each person had one large slice and two small samples.

Finally, on Friday, the Red Balloons baked.
