U.S. Rep. Peter Hoekstra Visited Onekama
January 15, 1999

Several summers ago while out bicycling, Mr. Hoekstra visited Onekama School. At the time we were in the mess of construction. Today he returned, taking Mrs. McCarthy up on her invitation to visit our completed building. He was interested to see how we were providing technology experiences for our students. He was impressed with the facility, the integration of technology in so many classrooms, and the low student/teacher ratio.

Our all new Business Department offers a wide variety of classes.

Onekama School also has two Macintosh Computer Labs for elementary students. One is at the Arcadia School, the other at Onekama. All elementary classrooms are connected to the Internet.
