There are lots of starving people in the world who are too poor or don't have the ability to grow their own food. Richer countries like USA & Europe that can produce should send their surplus foods to help the starving. I learned there are hungry people right here in Onekama that need help. Some of them have lost their jobs. We need to remember to help people in need who live close to our homes, also. I like the Empty Bowl Project because it gets kids involved and interested in what is happening in the real world. Projects like this make a difference. ...Tim B.
