One day my sister and I were getting ready for school. When we were just leaving and I heard my gunniea pig cry. I ran up stairs and when I reached the top there were three baby gunniea pigs laying by Tiffy. I screamed and ran down the stairs I cept running up and down the stairs.

I was so scared and I didn’t know what to do. Finely my sister slapped me and I ran with my sister dragging by my side. When I reached the gunniea pigI picked Tiffy up and started hugging her and crying. I had to put her back down because the babies were crying and running aronnd the the cage.

I had to stay home that day and watch them. I had a lot of fun. I named them all after my favorite snack -- a somemore. I named the white one Marshmellow, the black one Hersey ,and the brown one Gramcraker. About four mouths latter Tiffy started getting fat again. I wonder...

When I got to school on Thursday. I went up to Mrs. Bently and said ‘‘What time is the spelling bee’’. She said, ,‘‘two O’clock’’.

I couldn’t wait until the spelling bee. Finally it was time. When we got into the cafeteria I was third in line. When I was in the final four I started to get nervous. When I was in the final two with Erica Jach, she had to spell ‘‘helicopter’’ . She did not spell it right. I was so excited.

When I went up to get my prize I found out it was five tickets to vogue theater. That was the best day ever.

As I began to waken I opened my eyes but around my left eye it was hurting. I was starring across the room at the empty hamster cage. My hamster was gone I remembered. The pain around my eye was unbelievable now so I put my hand up to rub the pain away. When I brought my hand down it was dripping with blood. “Must be just a little cut,” I thought. Then I saw a little furry thing. It was my hamster! But I lost too much blood and I was too weak to do anything about it. The hamster was coming closer, closer and was right up next to my wound. As I could see more detail it had a blood stain around its mouth. I saw that the hamster made the cut with its razor like teeth. With those same teeth the little vermin started nibbling the flesh away from my bloody skull. Blood was now running down my face in rivers. With one last attempt to save my life, I grabbed my dagger off my bed side table. With all the might left in me I stabbed the little rodent. Then I sliced and diced the rodent until it lay in pieces bleeding on the mattress. Blood was squirting like fountains. It was finally dead.

We know people from Flordia. They were coming up. My grandma said they had a boy about my age and his name was JohnPaul. I pictured him fat, and ugly, but when we got there - he was so cute. When it was time to eat there were 3 tables one out siide ( a picnic table) 2 a very large dinner table and then a small table for 2. Early I promised my cousin I would sit by him out side. so he saved a seat for me . John I guess had his own Ideas. He said , “where are you going ? “ I said , I’m going to sit out there “. I went on. He shouted out loud, ‘‘ No I think you better sit here. I was so embarassed .I was hoping nobody heard him! Well I Sat by him, And started to like him a little.

I always take good care of my baby sister, Anita. Sometimes I have to take her to the bathroom so that she can take a bath but sometimes she dosn’t want to. I always take her Out to play. My sister always cries a lot but then she laughs. When my mom was going to have a baby I was so happy and surprised. Everyone thought it was going to be a boy but when thebaby was born it was a girl. My mom was so surprised. My dad was kind of upset because itwas a girl, but he was happy.

One day in October I heard my mom talking about having a baby. After she got off of the phone I asked her , “Are you going to have a baby?” she said “Yes. It was suppose to be a surprise.” “When will it be born?” She said Any time now.” "Do you know if it is going to be a boy or a girl?” “It is suppose to be a girl.” “Do you have a name for her yet?” “I was thinking of naming her Alisha." "That sounds like a good name.”

On November 9 at about 6:00 my mom said I think that I am ready to go to the hosipital. So PJ drove her to the hosipital while my brothers and me stayed with my grndma. The next morning there was a message on the answering machine . It was my mom. She had a little girl. I was so happy. When I got to school I told all of my friends and they where happy to. That night my mom came home at about 7:00. I was happy to see my mom and my new baby sister.

When I won 1 place I went outside to buy some candy. I bought some candy and I sat under the tree to eat. When I was done Dusty said we should go to the egg toss. I said yes. Before we went Dusty told me to bring a small leaf. I got some tape and I taped the leaf to the egg. I threw the egg over the string and It hit the ground It didn’t break at all.

The weight of the egg was 54.5. I went in for the rewards. The Lady called some names and I won1 place for the egg toss. We went on the bus and we left. On the bus I let my friends look at my medal. When we got back at the school I got of the bus and then I got into Moms car and we went home.

When my mom said we where going to Flordia it surprised me. We were going to leave on Friday and we got to stay home on Thursday and Friday to pack the car.

After we where on the road going to Flordia we drove nonstop except for eating or going to the bathroom. My mom likes to eat at Bob Evans, so we ate at one in every state that we drove through. At this one place that we ate breakfast it cost us $40.00 to eat eggs, potatos and bacon.

When we got to Flordia we went to our motel and went up to our room and unpacked are stuff. After we un packed are stuff we went down to the front desk and got tickets to Disney land, Magical world, and Sea World. The next couple days we went to them places and had fun.

Friday May1 on my birthday Scott came over to celebrate and we had lots of fun. Later when Grandma came over they set everything up for my birthday and I wasn’t allowed in the living room. I figured they were just doing somthing for my birthday, but what, I had to know.

Later, when we opened presants the first one that caught my eye was the hoop. I wanted dad to put it up but he said “no.”

The next day it was up. I instantly played with it. From that day on I’ve been playing basketball.

When I got uot of the bus, I saw Adriana in the line. None of the kids in Mr. Finan's class knew that Adriana was going to come. All the kids got so happy because Adriana was back. Me and the kids were happy to have Adriana back. When Adriana came back she didn’t got to do hard work,like Science test and Social studies. Anyway we are so happy to have Adriana back with us in Onekama, and her sister in Arcadia School.

In December I went to the Marina with my grandma. When we got there my grandma, sister, brother, and I all entered a drawing. The prize, if you won, was candy, a turkey, or wine.

A few days later I got a call from the Marina. They said I won a turkey. Then my mom drove me to the Marina to pick up the turkey. I was so surprised because I’ve never won a contest before.

Than a few weeks later we ate the turkey for Christmas dinner. We still haven’t broke the wishbone.

When I went to the Art Festival, it was awesome. I met Scott and his brother there. We played in the band with the rest of the class.

For the past few months at the Conservatory of Dance and Performing Arts, everything was the King and I, Annie, Cats, or New York New York. We were preparing for Bits of Broadway, the annual dance performance, and it had the theme of Broadway plays this year. Well, it wasn’t exactly like Broadway, but it was the closest we could get on the Ramsdell stage. But, like Broadway, it was full of singing, dancing, and acting.

The King and I was the first act. The first 3 dances were the King’s kids. Those were mostly ballet classes. My group, the first group of kids, danced to March of the Royal Children, or something like that. We wore peacock colored leotards, peacock colored harem pants(the big poofy ones), gold headbands, and gold armbands. The second group wore pink leotards, ping harem pants, gold armbands, and gold headbands. The third group wore the same thing. Next came more of the King’s kids, except they did something a lot different. They did acrobatics. There were only six kids in that group, unlike the other groups that had twelve or more kids in it. Half of the kids wore iced grape leotards and tan tights. The other half, including me, wore iced orange(yuck)leotards with tan tights. After that was more of the King’s kids. They wore black leotards with red sashes, red harem pants, and the armbands and headbands. Then came the Kings Maidens. There dance was pretty. They wore black skirts with gold belts and green leotards. Then came the Kings Wives. Those were the advanced ballet dancers. They wore the same as the maidens. The last group was the hand maidens. This one really confuses me. They wore an outfit prettier than some of the kings own kids! This was another of the groups I was in. We wore shiny blue tops with black harem pants.

The next act was Annie. Everyone brought in their own outfit, a dress that was old, ugly, and looked like it was from the thirties. Kayla P. played Annie and sang at the end of that act.

The next act was Cats. That was fun. Everyone wore a white cat suit, a black cat suit, or a copper cat suit. The first group was the Jellical cats. I was in that group. I was in a white suit. The Gumby cats were next. Then the Mad cats. The last dance was the Show cats. Tom-Tom was played by Ryan. At the end of that dance, all the cats had to come out and scream.

The last act was New York New York. The first dance was the sailor boys. They danced and then some girls came out and the boys ran after them. Then there were two duets. One by Toni and Jake and another by Trista and Ryan.

I had a lot of fun in this performance. I can’t wait for the next big one I’m probably going to be in, the Nutcracker!

One day on the bus Mike came to my house I went out to play basketball.

And that night we slept in a tent. the next morning it was a buitiful day out so we played soccer. And just so suddenly it started to rain and thunder and lighting. So we ran into the tent and a huge lightning bolt hit the sand and their was a huge black spot. And it stopped. But all of sudden it started up again but only this time with hail. I started to screaming as I ran inside. I got some candles and lit them. I waited and waited and then to clear up. I said , “Darnit there is no tornado.”

And Mike went home. And it started raining again. I was hoping it would clear up so I could play base ball.

When we found out my bunny, Buttons, was pregnant we were happy. She got really big. We had to feed her a lot of food and water.

We walked out one morning and she had her bunnies. But, they were all purple and cold. That’s when I knew they were dead. They died because their mother died. She still had a marble stuck in her.

When my Mother buried them I cried. Buttons had 11 babies. I was only 6 1/2 when this happened. I still know where they are buried.

A few days later I got a new bunny. I named her Buttons after my old bunny that died. We didn’t breed Buttons because we didn’t want anymore bunnies dieing.

Once I was in Tennessee at my uncle’s house. I went to play with my friend at his house. He had a jungle gym there that we would play on. I played on the monkey bars and my friend played on the swings. The monkey bars wwere slippery from the night before when it had rained. About half way across I fell with my arm twisted. I ran to my uncle’s house as fast as I could which wasn’t very fast when I got there my uncle put my arm under cold water and drove me to the hospital. Right after that I had to go home. When I got there the next say they put a cast over my arm. I had to go to school the next day and every one signed my cast.

When my cousin’s bunny was pregnant it was fun. I was going to get one of the babies. We went to the veterinarian to see what we could feed them. We fed the bunnies. I hope the bunnies can have babies. Then they got bigger and bigger and then they can eat carrots.

When I got my new puppy I was suprised and I love my dog and he is cool too. I trained him to pull me on my sled and he dances with me.

When I went out to feed my ducks they had got out. They were all cuddled up in a corner, but one saw me so he started peeping and cheeping for a while so the other ducks heard him. Then all the ducks started peeping. Since I had their feed and water, they started chasing me around the yard. I walked to their pen. I quickly put their food and water in their pen and as soon as the baby ducks got to me, I picked them up and put them back in their pen. Safe!

I have to feed them daily and water them every so often and give them fresh bedding every few days. When it comes fair time I bring my animals to the fair and put them in their pen. Then after the last few days I auction them off. (which means to sell). I don’t really like to sell them, but when I show them I like getting trophies, ribbons and plaques. I do have to admit it is pretty sad to sell them.. Before the fair when they are young we have a lot of fun and happy times together. I always take them for walks, feed them clover and do many more things together with them. When they are really young they are really fluffy and cute.

When I was four, my brothers put my three wheeler up on top of a slide. So I went up the slide and got on my three wheeler. My brothers told me to go down the slide. Then they went under the slide.

So I started to go down. When I was close to the end of the slide my brothers started to pick the slide up. I flew in the air. When I hit the ground I started to crying. Then my mom came out and asked me what was wrong, and I said, ‘‘my leg hurts.’’ so she took me to the hospital. the doctor took a X-Ray and found out that my leg was broke.

After all of that they put a cast on. I could not walk so my dad had to carry me around fopr six months. I hope I don’t have to go through that again!

One winter day I was sledding at school for recess. One time I hit the jump and when I hit the the ground I hit my hand on the ground. The doctors took X-rays and said it was sprained. I had to wear a cast for a whole week.

It was really hard to play basketball because if I shot with two hands it would hurt my wrist. So I had to shoot with one hand. The day I sprained it. Soren didn’t think it hurt so he squished my wrist and it really hurt.

When I went over to Kayla M's for the first time, we played with her hampster. I wanted to pet her guinia pig, Giggles. But kayla told me she bit people she wasn’t used to so I just put my hand up real close and the next moment.......she bit me!!!

It didn’t hurt very much but boy, was I surprised! I told Kayla and she wasn’t very surprised. She told me once Giggles had bit Travis.

The day I got my trampoline I was in a bad mood. My sister called me and said,“ Jade grandpa has a surprise.” I slowly walked out to our garage. Then I saw this huge box with the word “TRAMPOLINE” printed on the side. I screamed and jumped up and down. I was so happy!! I was no longer in a bad mood.

We now have it up in our yard. It is so much fun to jump on. That is how I got one of my best surprises!!

It was the morning before Christmas and when I woke up I was all itchy and bumpy. I got up out of my bed and looked in the mirror. I screamed “Ahhhhhhhh, I have the chicken poxs! ”

My mom and dad really felt sorry for me, so they decided to give my brother and I one of our Christmas presents early. My parents went outside, when they came they brought something with them. I couldn’t quite see until it crawled in my lap.

It was a dog, a boy dog, He was a golden Labrador retriever. He was soooo soft, cute and warm. When I sat indian style he would hide under my legs.

We named him Nick because we got him on Christmas or was suppose to. Boy, was I suprised! I love my Dog!!!!

Yesterday, I was outside with my mom. She was feeding the rabbits. I looked in my rabbit’s cage, I saw something moving under Sugar. It was ...... A BABY BUNNY!!! I was so excited!!! Sugar was cleaning the sac.off one of them. They are so cute. They don’t have any fur yet. They are just the color pink and black. In about a week I can hold them. If I hold them now my scent will be on them and the mother rabbit won’t take care of them and kill them. You wouldn’t think that rabbit eat meat.

Now I can hold them. They have white fur, their eyes are open. But two of them have bad feet. We are not going to kill them, but I can’t show them at the fair.

I was so surprised that I won first place in the basketball tournament. Erica, Danielle, Amber and I played really well. The trophies were so cool! I had to get won. I was so nervous when we were getting started. My legs were shaking and they were turning blue. When we were playing I wasn’t that nervous.

I thought the other teams were pretty easy but they were short and scrappy. I was so surprised that we beat them. The score was 12-4 us! That was the best day of my life!

How soft are the kittens? When the kittens were born they had a little bit of fur,but as they grew they they got more and more fur. They were so soft.

What did I feed them? First the mother cat fed them. Then I fed them hard cat food.

What color were they? Some were black with different colors,and some were pure black. Only one was pure cream colored.

What time were they born? The four kittens were starting to be born at 2:16 am and stoped at 3:00 am.

How does the mom clean them? She cleans them one by one, and licks the fur clean.

My favorite kitten is the cream colored one. I call him Buttercup.

The day my cat died, we forgot to empty the bucket of Anti freeze. I remember my mom coming in my room saying,” Do not go near the cat she is very sick she will probably die.” I felt like crying.

She must have got thirsy and drank some Anti freeze. The next day she was sitting in the garage drooling all over the floor. Anti freeze kills animals!! She would not eat, drink, or move. A little later she died.

I had her one year and her name was Tiger. Sometimes I try to forget her, but I still feel sad.

One of my most surprising and hurtful things that ever happened to me was when I tried to start my lawn mower. I pulled that long string and I felt a virus go up my arm or something. I accidentally misplaced my hand on the brand-new spark plug my mom installed a day or two before. I kicked the stupid thing and yelled until my head hurt.

The only two good things that went fine were the lawn mower stalled like it always does and I got a whole new hair style. I absolutely won’t try anything of the sort again. I wonder who makes those sparky things?

One day i was riding home on the bus. it always takes at least an hour for the bus to get to my house so i was starving. As i got off the bus i was running as fast as i could to get to the house. finally i got into the house and little did i know that i was just going to witness one of the bigggest messes i have ever seen. ‘‘i am starving!!!’’ i screamed (luckily no one was in the when i screamed). when i stepped into the kitchen my eyeballs could’ve fallen right out of their sockets. my dog had ripped the dog food bag open. there was dog food all over the kitchen! i was the one who had to clean it up too.

One time I took a lamb to the fair.He was a problem at home,but when he got to the fair he was like an angal. I did not think I would git grand champion with him. I was proud of myself and of him. I was so happy that I got grand champion. And after that I took him to the pen every one said, "Good work" and the people I was against were jealous,but they still said "Good job “ . My lamb’s name was boomera because you would be walking and he would hit you with his head.
