First we had to find a baker. This
baker had a huge oven. It was hot.
We put some
raisins in our bread. Mostly the bread was made of wheat
flour.
Our bread went in
the oven on the end of a long paddle. The oven must be
very hot to bake the bread. We were very careful not to
get burned.
While we waited
for the bread to bake and cool, we took a walk in the
forest. There were huge trees. Luckily Goldilocks did not
eat our bread while we were gone!

It is important to get your hands in
the dough and knead it.
Everybody worked
to prepare their bread.
On our walk in the
forest we found a huge tree.
We wondered how
long the tree had been growing in the forest. It was bigger around
than four of us. Trees use sun and rain to grow, but kindergartners
need bread. It must have taken a lot of sunny days and rainy days to
grow so large a tree.
