 Kirk's expression shows his passion for honey right off a fresh comb. Everyone chewed the wax. It was like bubble gum... kind of.
This isn't like the honey I get from the store, but I do love it!

 Lindsay and Kirk open up a comb before placing it in the spinning wheel.
The children took turns spinning the wheel which throws the honey out of the comb cells.
Here's the group shot. We did it ourselves! Thank you Sharon and Kirk Jones. This was a wonderful field trip. We will remember how useful bees are. |
