Bilingual Tutor Program

Bilingual tutors assist younger Spanish speaking children to develop their English speaking skills, give academic assistance, give hugs and love to help the children become more comfortable and successful in the school environment. This program was initiated this school year in the "School to Work Program." The aides spent two to three class periods a week assisting their assigned children.

Laura Perez had a great time working with first graders in Mrs. Jordan's class. The students enjoyed having her attention.

Marisela Gamez spent her time working in "Castles and Kites" infant toddler program.
