Yesterday we cleaned up a highway. We cleaned it by picking up garbage and stuff. The stuff that we picked up was all kinds of garbage. We had a super time. We had a lot of fun doing that. Highway Cleanup We did highway pick up because we wanted to help out a little. It was so much fun because we helped the world get clean. Some of us had fun picking up trash for the world. We walked a whole mile picking up trash on the side of the road. I didn't think I would like Highway clean up but it turned out to not be so bad. It was good exercise and it was kind of fun. We got free apples and when we got to the end of the road we got all to rest. We got to rest for at least 15 minutes because the bus took a long time to get there. ...Ryan Yesterday we had highway cleanup. I found an old bucket, an old deflated inner tube (it looked like it was from the ë60s) and various other items. Todd found a wine bottle. Nathan Wilson brought his water backpack thing which I used (since the water was warm) to wash rubber off my hands. I canít speak for everyone but I say it was great. Tim I had a fun day when the rest of my class went to Highway cleanup. I thought that I would sit in the office, and read a book or do my homework while some one watched me. But instead I went down to the computer lab where there was teacher who was teaching a class, then another teacher came to help them. Then the class left and one of the teacher stayed to work on the computer. Then another class came in and left. Then I was working on my homework and the teacher said she will be right back, but she never came back. Then I finished my homework, and went to see if my class was back. I went to my class but it was empty, so I went back to the computer lab and read for a little bit. Then I went to se if my class was back yet and I saw them going to band. Then I went back to class, put my books away and grabed my band book and went to band. ...Nicholas We picked up garbage along the highway. Tim found a roof piece. I had a bag and I followed Tim to the place where it was. Tim put the piece in my bag. It weighed about five pounds! It was pretty heavy to carry. I carried it the whole way. The best part was waiting for the bus; we were acting like hitchhikers but when the bus came over the hill we ducked down in the grass trying to have them not see us. When we were picking up trash me Haley and Nate found a piece of broken glass. We found metal and pieces of wood. Some of the things that we found would not fit in our trash bags. I saw the other class go by us when we were doing this. When we got done Nate, Brandon, Haley, Hunter, Tayler and I were playing football.
