First we brought our lunches to the lodge, then it was time to get boots.

On February 2, 2000, we went skiing at Crystal Mountain for Good Behavior Day. All of the kids in our class were good and we all got to go, except three people in our class that had a broken leg, surgery or a swelled up toe. They could not go skiing. The P.T.O sponsored the trip. ....Meghan

When I was at Totem Park skiing I helped first graders get their lift tickets. The people that gave you a pass had set up a course to follow which involved stopping and turning. Most of them knew how to stop but some kids didn't turn well enough even though they had great instructors. I also just plain helped them stand up. There was one kid that almost seemed to enjoy falling down but he did get his pass. I also seemed to improve my balance from pulling little kids on skies. ....Todd

Our good behavior ski day was the most fun ever. Those of us who don't have passes for it were still allowed to go on black diamond hills That is with an adult from the school. The first black diamond hill I went on was either Buck or Little Vincent. Some of the green circle hills like Hoot Owl are kind of fun. Hoot Owl is fun for one good reason: it links with the black diamond hill Back Bowl. ...Tim

When we first got there most of us had to get rentals. I did, but I didn't have to wait long at all. Dani and I passed our test the first time. Then we went skiing. After a while we went to look for Megan and Marlee. We found them right away and skied with them for a while. We had lots of fun and I can't wait until next year. ...Amber
