Art Students at NewLand are involved in making many kinds of masks.
Students in Mrs. Sanderson's and Mr. Bromley's classes created cylinder masks out of tagboard. In many cultures masks are made for decorations, and not for wearing on the face.

Mr. K's class is in the process of creating paper mache masks. After forming the paper and paste onto a bowl, we lifted the mold, and painted them one color. The next step will be to paint the faces.

Torn paper art projects decorate the hall.
