| Two boys were making lists of other
words they had learned. Some ended like "cat"
and some ended like "fish" or
"train". It was quite a job to get them in
order, but this was a good team.
Another student explained the "Brown Bear" chart. Engrossed in his reading,
the student to the right barely noticed when I took his
picture, but he did confirm that he loved to read! |
 One young student volunteered to show me the nature center. "We have a turtle. We can't feed him too much or it messes up the water", he told me.
