WE CAN: We are collecting money as well as bottle and can receipts at Prevo's, Olsen's and K-Mart. WE CAN raised over $200.00 to give to the Salvation Army for their efforts in New York after September 11. Thanks to all who donated!
Come on in and learn with us! Computer Skills: It has been great to spend time each day in the MAC Lab. We have improved our keyboarding skills a lot! Right now we are beginning to use Hyperstudio to use for presentations. We want to thank Mrs. Brown for introducing it to us. Math: Multiplication and division are the major areas of study for us at this time. We brought over some great manipulatives from NewLand to help! THE FOSSIL FARM!! The Fossil Farm, sponsored by Team Elmer's, is coming to Onekama! Thanks to the fine people at Elmer's we are soon going to be enjoying a large area of washed stone that is full of fossils, especially our state stone, the Petoskey! It will be a great opportunity for our study of geology here at Onekama. Thanks, Elmer's! |
