5th Grade Basketball: Onekama vs. Manistee Public

Last night we lost to MAPS and I wiped out and now my knees are black and blue. It really hurt but I shook it off. We all did a really good job and I am proud of everyone! It was a good game Savannah got fouled on twice and made two out of four shots and Savannah said that "that was her best game ever".  Sydnee had so many shots and and none of them went in but she had a really good game. She had a lot of rebounds. Emma made 2 points and Savannah made 4 points and I made 6 points. I think that was our most competitive game ever. ~Love,  Colleen

 When we played Manistee Public we lost 22 to 13, but I don't really care sense we played really hard. Manistee Public was really good, but we did awesome. I tried to shoot a lot of baskets but they didn't make it in. I had got fouled once and I was so close to making the basket.  Hanna and Savannah made their free through. In the second half I got a rebound and my defender got it too but I would not let go of the ball, it ended up being a jump ball for blue which was my team. I had so much fun and I think we did great.   ~Sydnee H.

We played Manistee on Thursday. I made a couple baskets. Even though we lost I think we played an amazing game. I had a really fun time at our game. ~Hanna
