Fifth Grade Basketball: Portagers vs. Sabers

We played the sabers and beat them 23 to 8. That was our second time playing them. We played hard as a team. We played at home. I had fun at our last game. ~Cody

For Onekama Taylor Bennett was high with 8 points, Austin Harper had 5 and Luke Mauntler 4. Dalron Grey, Aaron Powers and Justin Zupin contributed 2 apiece.

For MCC Colid Guzikowski and Brady Mikula each had 2, while Mateo Barnette had 1.

Wednesday March 40, 2013 we played the Manistee Catholic Central Sabers. It was our last game of the season. We won 23-5. I scored 8 points, Austin scored 5, Luke had 4, and Justin, Aaron, and Dalron each had 2 points. It was a fun game I can't wait to play basketball next year. ~Taylor

My season was good. I made 10 shots. We lost 3 games. We won 11 games. We had a good season. ~Matthew

We had a good Basketball season. We were 11 wins 3 loses including the tournament. We all enjoyed wining the trophy for second place in the tournament. I really enjoyed the Basketball season. ~Caden
