Onekama vs. Bear Lake:
Onekama 7th grade girls finally got to play their first game today.
Mother Nature tried stopping this one but failed. Onekama defeated Bear
Lake by a score of 28-17. The team passed the ball around extremely
well. They are looking for the open player and passing the ball down
court for the shot. It's a big step for them this year and they are
doing great! Leading Scorers for the Portagers were Grace Hughes with 12
pts, Michele Haske and Lauryn Johnson with 4 pts each, Kassidy Ward and
Makayla Spearman each had 3 pts, and Mckayla Haske contributed 2. Great

Onekama vs.
Brethren: Onekama overpowered Brethren in their second game of the
day with the final score 36-18. It was a very physical game and the
girls stayed strong and positive. McKayla Haske and Lauryn Johnson
both scored 10 pts for the Portagers, Kassidy Ward and Michele Haske
scored 4 pts, and Grace Hughes, Kiara Bromley and Ashlee Fettig
contributed 2 each. Brethren even helped out by scoring some points
for Onekama! Excellent job ladies.
