Plate Tectonics Theory
1.)
Plate Tectonics Theory.
2.) We used a candy bar to show how it works.
3.) We pushed it, and pulled it a few times.
4.) I saw a circular formation with landforms of Chocolate.
5.) Chocolate represented Land and formations, and caramel was Lava.
~ Tucker Laws
The theory
that we were talking about was plate tectonics theory. We imitated it
with a Milky Way chocolate bar. We smooshed the chocolate bar to form
plates. Then we pulled the chocolate bar apart and pushed it together
again. The coating of chocolate were overlapping each other and this
representing the different land forms such as mountains, valleys,
volcanoes, etc. The caramel represented magma or lava. After all that
hard work, we ate it of course. This was the best part of all. ~Jacinda
Misico
1. The
theory was Plate Tectonics.
2. We imitated it by using a milky way bar.
3. The steps we had to follow were to open the wrapper. Then we had to
take the candy bar out and pit it on the wrapper. Then we squeezed the
sides together to make plates. Then we squeezed the candy bar until it
formed a weird shape. Then we showed are neighbors are weirdly shaped
candy bar, And last but not least my favorite part, we ate the milky way
candy bar. Yuummmm!
4. The saw a weirdly shaped candy bar.
5. The chocolate shell that was sticking out was representing mountains
or volcanoes. The caramel and whipped chocolate in the center was the
lava, which was pouring out of the volcanoes. ~Gerald Eipperle
The theory
of plate tectonics. We smooched a milky way. Smooshed and sides; push
pull. I saw mountains and lava. Carmel was lava and the chocolate was
mountains.
~Thomas Peters
1.The theory
was plate Tectonics.
2.We smooshed a milky way.
3.We followed these steps smoosh sides, push & pulled
4.We saw mountains, lava, cramel, magma, valleys
5.The different ingredients were water trenches hot lava plates
modulations ~Natasha Florian
Today we
talked about Plate tectonics. We smashed a Milky Way candy bar. It was
awesome. We smashed the sides then pulled and then smashed the Milky Way
back to together. It made mountains, lava, magma, and valleys. The
different ingredients represent water, trenches, hot lava, plates, and
mountains. ~Kayla Kosiboski
1.The theory
was Plate Tectonics.
2.We smooshed the Milky Way.
3.We had to follow steps like smooshed sides, push, pull.
4.I saw mountains, lava, caramel, magma, valleys.
5.The caramel lava the chouclet was mountains and the meadiate was
waters.

We were
talking about Plate Tectonic Theory. We imitated it by making little
cracks in the chocolate of the Milky Way bar that we used. First we
unwrapped the candy. Then we pushed on the sides of the candy bar and
made cracks. After that we pushed on it more so then we could see
caramel and then we described the landforms to the person who sat next
to us. We saw caramel coming out of the bar. The caramel represented
lava and the chocolate described the land and plates. ~Kayla Feil
Today we
talked about the plate tectonic theory. We imitated it with Milky Way
candy bars. We pretended that the Milky Way was our earth. First we
unwrapped our candy bars very carefully. Then we pushed the sides and
the top in. It formed many plates. When we got done pushing it together
and making landforms, we told our partners about them. I said the
chocolate outer layer represented the plate tectonics and the carmel
represented lava, so when the plate tectonics shifted it caused the lava
to come up from beneath the surface forming a volcano. .Also the
caramel could represent rivers. I thought this project was a lot of
fun. ~Louise Barnard
The theory
we were talking about was the plate tectonics theory.
We imitated it by a milky way candy bar by pinching the sides and the
top and bottom. That made the plates we needed to imitate it.
The steps we follow were take the wrapper off without destroying the
candy bar, then pinching the sides, the top, and bottom, then pull the
sides apart and put it back together.
I saw that the plates were bumping into each other and some plates
formed different land forms .
The caramel represented the magma and the chocolate represented the
plates. ~Caitlin Zielinski
The plate
tectonics. we used Milky Way candy bars. (they were delicious) =). We
did four steps. The first is to compress the sides, Top and Bottom. Then
the sides.
Second we had to tear it, then we had to push it back together. Third we
identified the landmasses. I saw a volcano, valley and a cave. The
different ingredients made my planet. It was called Chocolate. fourth we
ate it. ( Elijah is happy when the chocolate touched his lips.) =) There
what we did and how. ~Elijah Hayes
The theory
we were talking about is the plate techtonic theory. We imitated it by
the candy Milky Way. The steps we had to follow were peel off the
wrapper carefully, then push the sides together and the tops to, then we
had to pull it apart and push it back together. Then we got to eat it.
We saw what looked normally like a smooshed candy bar but it was the
landforms, forming and overlapping and split. It looked kind of cool.
The chocolate represented volcanoes and mountains, the nugget and
caramel parts represented lava. ~Hanah Gilbert |
