Today we
traveled to Baldwin for our 8th grade tournament. We brought three
seventh graders with us for the tournament: Sami Tiefenthal, Faith
Moerdyk and Sierra Warner. We were missing Sierra Hull from the 8th
grade. In our first game against Bear Lake we won the first game 21-13,
and in the second game we won 21-14. Then we played the winners of
Baldwin/Pentwater game and played Pentwater. In the first game against
Pentwater we won 21-10, then in the second game we won 21-6. This put
us into the finals against MCE. In the first game, which was close, we
lost 15-21 and in the second game we really struggled and lost 6-21. |
So for the
tournament we took 2nd Place. We went home with second place and having
a fun and great season. We ended up 5-3 in the seasons games.
Elizabeth Bergren and Kelly Koon each scored 16 points for the day,
Emily Bergren scored 15 points for her team. Emalee Schultz scored 11
points, Becky Cunningham had 7 points, Sierra Warner scored 2 points,
and Jessa Gauthier, Sami Tiefenthal, and Faith Moerdyk scored 1 point
each. Great Day and the girls had fun in 2008.
