The Brethren Bobcats
brought their Kaleva girls to our home court last night. It was a rough
game that kept the girls hustling. At the end of the 1st
quarter the Bobcats were up 2-0, by half time Lady Portagers had scored
4 baskets bringing the half time score 8-2. The Portagers came out
strong for the 3rd period and by the end scored 8 more points
taking them to 16-4 at the end of the period. Portagers scored 6 more
in the fourth period with the Bobcats putting in four points, final
score being Onekama Portagers 22, Brethren Bobcats 8. |
We scored 20 points: Somer had 8, MacKenzie
4, Ashley 2, Keegan 2, Madison 2, and Cynthia 2. Leading the rebounds
was Somer with 6, MacKenzie pulled down 4 rebounds, Alyssan and Cynthia
