We played at
Bear Lake  5:00
      Tonight we played at Bear Lake against the Lakers.  The 7th graders won the first game 21-16.  We then turned around and won the second game which was close 21-19 and won the match.  We played a third game for more playing time and won 16-14. 
  • Elizabeth Bergren was the teams top scorer with 10 points.
  • Becky Cunningham scored 8 points.
  • Sierra Hull scored 6 points.
  • Emalee Schultz scored 4 points.
  • Emily Bergren scored 1 point.
      The 8th graders won the first game 21-15.  In the second game we lost a really close game 21-23.  In the third and final game we won 15-12 to walk away with the win.
  • Emily Pomeroy was the teams top scorer with 8 points.
  • Jennica Mathieu and Danielle Ward both had 7 points.
  • Mariah Hunt scored 5 points.
  • Amber Sullivan and Lindsay Nesburg both scored 1 point

Onekama Middle School Volleyball Teams traveled to Brethren tonight to challenge the Bobcats and win.

Monday the 15th
Tourney at Walkerville 4:00
Today we traveled to Walkerville for the 8th grade volleyball tournament.  We played our first game against Bear Lake and won 21-16 and 21-12. This put us up with 2 wins.  We then played with Brethren and won 21-6 and lost 19-21.  So now we now have 3 wins in the tournament.  In the third game we played MCE and won 21-13 and 21-17.  We left pool play in first place which seeded us against Big Rapid Cross Roads Academy on Wednesday.  Cross Roads didn't play on monday so they were in last place and with not seeing them play we didn't know what to expect on Wednesday.  ~Coach Keith
Wednesday 17th  Tourney at Walkerville 4:00
On Wednesday we returned for the semi finals in a single elimination and didn't play as a team and lost 14-21 and 16-21.  This sent us home with the girls really disappointed but we had a great season and girls played well together in all of our league games.
