Ashley and Logan

On Wednesday, October, 25, 2007 there was a hoop shoot. It was not an easy thing to do. I got shots and made it. At first I didn't want to, but I was glad I did. I took first place and had my picture taken. Logan got first and so did Ryan. It was a lot of fun at the hoop shoot. ~by Ashley

I went to the hoop shoot to see if I could win. I played Caleb. I scored 11 points. I was nervous but I won. I go to Manistee next on November 10th.  I hope I make it to Massachusetts to the nationals finals. I would get a party if I make it there. ~by Logan

Haley and Adrian

This Thursday (October 25, 2007) I shot in the Elks Hoop Shoot. My competitor was Kaitlin Kubisky. The first round we tied so we had a shoot off (we made 4-25 and then I made 4-5; which was weird). My little brother Logan won too. Adrian won for the other boys...when I have to get my picture with him I looked like a shrimp [he's way too tall; my opinion]. Now I move on to the 2nd round of the competition, which is in Manistee. If I win there I go to Big Rapids from there you go to well I forgot and then you go out of state which the air fare, lodging, car, and food is all paid for. It was really fun. ~Haley  (Webmaster's note: I loved your e-mail, Haley.  Does the picture to the left look better?)
