Text Box: Study Skills is a time when you can work on your home work. It helps students out allot if they do not have time after school to do all of it. Study Skills is part of electives. In middle school for fourth hour you get to chose between band and electives. Electives has four classes it is divided up into four different parts of the year. I interviewed some students about what they think about Study Skills. Michael - “I like it because you get an extra hour to do your homework. So it helps me to get my homework done.” Parker - “I like that it gives you more free time after school.” Austin - “I like that you can get your home work done before you go home.” Joe - “I think study skills is lots of fun it helps me get more organized. Now I have better grades.” Personally I feel Study Skills is a good idea. Text Box: Mr. Peabody is the tech director in the school. I asked him some questions about the technology in the school and what is going to change since the bond proposal has been passed. Daniel - “What technologies are going to change with the bond proposal?” Mr. Peabody - “You will see projectors in the sealing. So the teachers can show videos, DVD’s, and there computer. And any labs that we have will be updated. We will have brand new computers.” Daniel - “Are there any things you would change if you could?” Mr. Peabody - “I would like there to be automatically money in the budget to replace the worn down equipment.” I also asked some students what they think of the technologies in the school. Chris - “We need faster computers.” Parker - “I like that we don't have to carry our own computers around any more.” Joe - “I think that the cameras in the school keep the school safer and stop people from doing bad things.” There are a lot of technologies in this school. Text Box: There are many hobbies that 7th graders have some of them are: FISHING Joe - “Fishing helps you relax.” Brandon - “The best part is reeling in the fish.” BIKING Austin - “My favorite part of biking is the scenery.” Chris - “I like to hit jumps… but I wipe out a lot” AIR SOFT Curtis - “I like trying not to get hit with the BB’s and people hitting you.” BMX Brandon - “I like crashing. I also like the feeling of being in the air.” HUNTING Joe - “I like that it is quiet and relaxing. I like when a deer comes in you get a big adrenalin rush.“ SNOWBOARDING Quinn - “I like when you hit jumps and go really fast. Derek - “I like to go on rails and do tricks. BASKETBALL Quinn - “I like to swish half court shots. SKIING Parker - “The point of skiing is to have fun and try things you have not tried before.” There are also many more hobbies students like.
