Onekama Takes 2nd in Middle School Volleyball Tournament

Saturday the 10th of March we went down to Walkerville for the end of the season 8th grade  tournament with our 7th grade team.  Our first game was against the Pentwater Falcons and won both games 21-8 and 21-6.  

We then played the winners of the Walkerville vs MCE game, which ended up beating MCE.  We played the cardinals in the finals.  The first game was really close and we lost 18-21.  In the second and final game we lost 9-21, to take second in the tournament.  The girls were really disappointed but they played well and I had to remind them that we had a GREAT season and they played tough.  ~Coach Keith
