| Wednesday night the Onekama middle school volleyball team played at Baldwin and played both 7th & 8th grade teams. The girls played really well together and I think they surprised themselves. The first game we played their 7th grade team and won 25-12. The second game was against their 8th graders and lost a close game 24-26. The third game was against 7th graders | winning 25-18 and beat the 8thgraders in the fourth game 25-23 and lost the fifth game 11-15. It was a fun winning night and all girls got a lot of playing time. Jennica Mathieu was the team top scorer for the night with 21 points, Danielle Ward was right behind her with 13 points. Emily Pomeroy scored 10 points for her team. Tonight everyone on the team scored points and had fun. We play again Monday Feb. 12. ...Coach Keith |
