Onekama Football for 2006: Grade 7-8

9/13 at 4:30 PM	Brethren at Home Tied at 14-14	Onekama received the opening kickoff from Brethren at Portager Field. After the kickoff the ball was spotted on 46 yard line. On the first play of the game Dylan Koschital handed the ball off to Travis Teachout, and Travis took off and scampered 54 yards for a touchdown with 7:39 left in the 1st quarter. Travis also took the 2 point conversion in for a score to make it 8-0. With 2:19 left in the first quarter Brethren scored and made the 2 point conversion to tie the score at 8-8 each. That's the way the Football game stayed until there was only 1:31 to go in the game. Then Travis Teachout took the hand off from Dylan again and ran 20 yards for a touchdown to make it OHS 14 Brethren 8. The 2 point conversion was no good. But on the kickoff Brethren took the kickoff and ran it back 61 yards to tie the score at 14-14. They also couldn't convert on the 2 point conversion so the Game ended in a 14-14. It was both teams' first game of the season.
