At 11:00 a.m. the 7th grade Championship game between MCE vs Bear Lake was played. MCE won this game by a score of MCE 39 and Bear Lake 23 to win the North Division of WMD Championship.

At 10:00 a.m. the 7th grade consolation game was played with Brethren vs Onekama. The score was tied at the half at 9-9 but Brethren came out and had a strong 3rd quarter to beat our Portagers by a score of Brethren 28- Onekama 22.

Leading the Portages scoring attach today was Todd Cooper as he netted 8 points, Ryan Pienta connected for 5, Skyler Kimpel added 3, Nathan Fitch, Travis McKenney, Bobby Myers all had 2 points. ...Dennis Zupin reporting
