9/15	Brethren at Onekama 5:00	The 8th grade won their game over Brethren by a score of 31-14 Scoring for the young lady Portagers was Stacey Keith 11, Chelsea Miller 6, Alexis Callaway 6, Lucie Salyer 4, Paige Rutowski 2 and Oliva Bolthouse 2. A Few Game Pictures
9/20	Walkerville Away 5:00	The 8th grade Girls Basketball team traveled to Walkerville to take on the Wildcats in their second conference game of the season and came away with a 31-17 victory. Their season record is 2-0. Coach Keith reported they had a good balance scoring attach with Stacey Keith leading the way with 11 points, Chelsea Miller 6, Olivvia Bolthouse & Paige Rutowski both connected for 4 point and Lucie Salyor, Alex Callaway and Robin Savory all hit for 2 points each.
9/22	Pentwater Away 5:00	The 8th grade lost a hard fought defensive game to Pentwater 20-19. Stacey had 14 points. Photographs
10/2	MCE Away 10:00	On Saturday both teams were defeated by MCE. The 8th grade lost 30-12.
10/4	Baldwin Away 5:00	Monday the 8th grade defeated a scrappy Baldwin team 42-4. The girls played great team defense against a determined Baldwin team. Scoring was led by Stacey Keith scorching the net for 23 points , followed by Chelsea Miller with 7, Paige Rowtowksi with 4, Lucey Salyer and Oliva Bolthouse with 3 each, and Robin Savory with 2.
10/5	Brethren Away 5:00	The 8th grade defeated Brethren in a fast paced game 30-21. A well balanced attack was led by Stacey Keith with 10 points, Chelesa Miller pitched in 8, Lucy Salyer and Alex Callaway with 4 each, Olivia Bolthouse with 3 and Paige Rutowski with 1. Pictures
10/11	MCE Home 5:00	8th grade lost in a tight game to MCE 31-26. Stacey led the scoring with 13, Lucy and Olivia had 4 each, Chelsea had 3 and Paige had 2.
10/13	Bear Lake at Onekama 5:00	The 8th grade defeated Bear Lake 36-11. Leading scorers were Stacey Keith and Robin Savory with 10 each, Lucy Salyer with 8, Chelsea Miller with 6 and Paige Rotowski with 2. No 7th grade.
10/18	Bear Lake Away 5:00	There is no 8th grade game on Monday vs. Bear Lake for the 8th grade, the 7th grade is playing.
10/20	WMD Tourney at MCE 4:00	The 8th grade defeated Brethren Wednesday 23-20 to advance into the Championship game Saturday against MCE. Stacey Keith had the hot shooting hand ripping the nets for 20 points. Paige Rutowski and Olivia Bolthouse were steller on defense with special sportsmanship honors go to Alex Callaway and Robin Savory. Super hustle awards go to Chelsea Miller and Lucy Salyer.
10/23	WMD Tourney at MCE 10:00	The 8th grade also lost to MCE28-20 With Stacey Keith scoring 8 points and Chelsea Miller adding 6.
10/25	Frankfort at Onekama	The 8th grade wrapped up their season with a 19-14 win over Frankfort. The young Portagers held Frankfort scoreless in the last quarter. Stacey Keith popped in 9, Chelsea Miller threw in 6, Olivia Bolthouse and Robin Savory adding 2 points each. Great team 2nd half defense again led by Olivia Bolthouse and Stacey Keith. Great team hussle by Chelsea and the rest of the girls.
