Mrs. Wilson came in and showed us how to make dream catchers. First you take a piece of a branch and take all the leaves off. Then tie the two ends together with a piece of hemp. Then take what ever color string you want and put it over the branch and under it so it comes back up. It is lapped around the branch. Then at the end you can put beads and feathers or any other work. If you were to break the stick that means it was meant to be smaller. "To native Americans dreams were messages sent by sacred spirits. According to legend, the hole in the center allows good dreams to reach the sleeper while the web itself traps the bad dreams until they disappear with the first light of morning." ...Stacey Keith
