Free to Do Community Service
Joshua B

In my community we have the freedom to serve. That means that we have the freedom to help people and the community itself, in other places, for example, people aren’t allowed at other peoples’ churches. In this case, no one can come in to the church and help with anything because they are not allowed at the church. In America, however, we have the freedom to do these things, we could help at other peoples’ churches, or the food pantry, or at the fair, or wherever. The community group that I am currently with has done several things to improve the community and help its people. For one, we have done a beach sweep on the beach, and we painted the Onekama School concession stand, we are also painting barrels for the fair. In some other countries none of this would have been possible because there are laws against it. In some other countries, people have to wear certain thing or do or not do certain things, and none of this would have been possible in a foreign country. Someone would probably behead us all if we tried. In America, however we can. That is why we decided to do community work here; we won’t get beheaded for it.

Freedom to serve in your community means that you can go anywhere in your community to do things you want to do. You can serve your community anywhere. You can do any thing that you want to do in your community too. Community service can be done anywhere in the community from the school to a church. You can help in any way such as painting things like playgrounds, making T-shirts, or things like the relay for life. Helping out the community is also good to do. No name
