Dec. 16 Home Brethren Onekama Won: Onekama 45 Brethren 33 Nick Bradford 16pts on his 13th birthday. Happy Birthday Nick! Anthony Reedy 15 pts.
Jan. 6 Away Manistee Onekama Won: The 7th grade also played on the third floor gym at Manistee and came away with a win by a score of Onekama 35 and Manistee 30. Nick Bradford had a great night for the Young Portagers by scoring 21 points.
Jan. 8 Home MCE Pictures of the Game Onekama Won: The 7th grade played MCE at home and came away with another victory by the score of Onekama 27 MCE 20. Nick Bradford had another good night leading the Young Portagers with 16 points.
Jan. 13 Home Bear Lake Pictures of the Game Onekama lost: The 7th grade took on the Bear Lake Lakers with Nathan Bradford the coach as Mr. Burtch was unable to be there. Young Portagers lost for only the second time this season and both losts have come at the hands of the Lakers there record now is 4-2 They got beat by a score of 52 to 29 with Nick Bradford leading the way again with 12 pts followed by Jim Kosiboski with 8 pts. Eighth Grade this year
Jan. 15 Away Brethren Onekama lost: The 7th grade traveled to Brethren and played the Bobcats in a very high scoring game for 7th grade. The young Portagers led most of the way. They ended up losing by a score of 52 to 60. Nick Bradford had 23 point and Jim Kosiboski added 11 points
Jan. 16 Home Frankfort Onekama won: The 7th grade played Frankfort Panthers and came away with a victory in another close game as the Portagers led by a score of 20 to 18 at halftime and hung on to win by the score of 36 to 32. Nick Bradford led the scoring with 21 and Jim Kosiboski chipped in with 8 points.
Jan. 22 Home Walkerville

Onekama Won: The 7th grade beat the Walkerville Wildcats at home by a score of 41 to 27 to move their season record to 6 and 3. Nick Bradford put in 18 pts for the Portagers. They will next see action on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Bear Lake against the Mason County Cardinals.

Jan. 25 Away Tournament at Bear Lake Onekama Won: At Bear Lake the 7th grade boys took on the Mason County Cardinals in tournament action and easily defeated the Cardinals for the third time this year by jumping out to a 18-0 lead after the first quarter and won by a score 42 to 19. The will move into the Finals next Saturday at Bear Lake against the Host school, the Bear Lake Lakers, at 11:00 a.m. Their season record is 7-3
Jan. 29, 2003 Away Mesick Onekama Won: The 7th grade defeated Mesick at Mesick to improve their season record to 8-3
Feb. 1, 2003 Away Tournament Onekama Wins Second Place: The 7th grade took on the Bear Lake at Bear Lake in the West Michigan D North Division Championship game. At half time the Portagers were down by three points 20-17 but at the end of the third quarter the Portagers were up by two points 31-33. In a very wild fourth quarter the young 7th graders lost by a score of 44 to 38 to take 2nd place. They were presented with a nice plaque and ended the season at 8 and 4. Congratulation 7th graders on your 2nd place finish and winning season. Photographs below
