"Sixth Grade Shoots and Scores!"

Kelsey Acker is on the sixth grade girls’ basketball team. Kelsey wants to play basketball until she gets to college. Kelsey spends her time playing basketball with her sister and brother. Kelsey started playing basketball when she was in fourth grade. Basketball is not the only sport she plays.

All of the sixth grade girls basketball team did a great job. Also on the team are Mara Bates, Carmen Hayes, Jackie Klajda, Carmen Howard, Sarah Eipperle, Sara Mathieu, Kelsey Acker, Taylor Block, Amber Fink, Ashley Opdyke, Alyssa Cole, Courtney Griswold, Artisha Redd, Kieran O’Connor, Shannon Gillespie, and Sabrina Moreno. The sixth grade basketball team plays after the fifth grade team. “We tried really hard,” said Carmen Hayes. “It’s fun being a basketball player!” was a final comment from Jackie Klajda. Great job, girls!
