Sixth Graders Enjoy the Beach

Our class went to Lake Michigan for our end-of-the-year class trip. We had lots of fun. We dug a giant hole. The water kept trying to wash it away, but we worked hard to make it stand. —Nick Bradford

Our sixth graders at Onekama Middle School enjoyed a day of celebration at Lake Michigan. We had a terrific time and we hope we can do this again next year. —Mrs. Warman

Sara, Mara, Alyssa, Zach, Ciarra, Sarah and Ashlee buried Clyve. The sand was warm and the water was cold, but everyone had a great time.

The sixth grade boys began to dig a hole. The whole became a pond. The pond became a nice place to relax.

I liked swimming in Lake Michigan and making sandcastles. We also ate a lot of watermelon. We didn’t have any homework. Hurray!-Carmen Hayes

Alyssa and Logan buried Brett. The water was cold. Brett did not mind being buried in the sand. It was a lot warmer so Brett decided to take a nap.
