7^TH GRADE BOYS WIN FIRST BASKETBALL GAME OF SEASON

The seventh grade boys basketball team played Bear Lake at 5:00 at Onekama on December 4. Onekama won. The score was 33-23. It was a hard fought game. Last year Bear Lake’s team was a push over, but this year they really stepped up. Matt Somero said, "We used to beat Bear Lake with our eyes closed, but now we have to keep our eyes open because Bear Lake’s team has gotten better." Game scorers were Jake Zielinski, Joey Mitchell, Nathan Milarch, Mathew Somero, Curtiss O'Rorke Stedman, and Ryan Brown. All scored at least 4 points. We all played a good game.
