Onekama’s junior varsity team opened the night with a 14-14 tie with the Pirates. Jared Sarinopoulos and Braden Hagen each scored rushing touchdowns for the Portagers.   Game Photos
Sept. 5
Home vs. Vestaburg The Onekama JV football team lost to Vestaburg last night by a score of 29 to 6. The Portagers showed improvement from last week's game and improved throughout the game. We are looking forward to what lies ahead for these fine young men!  Game Photos
Sept. 12 at Coleman The Onekama JV football team defeated Coleman by a score of 30 to 14. The score was tied 0-0 at halftime before the Portagers erupted for 30 points in the third quarter. Evan, Jared, and Austin all scored touchdowns in the game.  Great job by the defense as well in slowing down the Comet offense.

Our Portagers lost to BRCCA by a score of 44 to 6.
Sept. 26 vs. Mancelona We defeated Mancelona at Home by a score of 8 to 0
Oct. 3 at Gladwin The JV football team lost to Gladwin last night by a score of 31 to 12
Oct. 10 at Central Lake Congratulations to the JV Football team on their win last night over Central Lake by a score of 26 to 20! Go Portagers

North Division of the Mid-State Athletic Conference the 5 teams are Onekama, Big Rapids Cross Roads Academy, Baldwin, Brethren, and MCC.  The north conference only counts wins from north conference as conference wins for the Conference Championship South Conference of the MSAC is  5 teams made up from Montabella, Vestaburg, Coleman, Mt. Pleasant Scared Heart, and Ashley . The south division only counts wins from south conference as conference wins for the Conference Championship
