     I felt the girls played better together this match. We were setting balls up and being more aggressive at the net. Unfortunately our serve receive still needs some work, but we will get it!
Some Highlights are Mackenzie Warlin 3/3 serving, Alyssan Clarke 1/2 serving and 1 Kill.

at Brethren
As our team continues to improve, I am even more pleased with the girls performance. We are working very well together . The offense that we are running this year is new to almost all of the girls, so it is a work in progress. The tournament this Saturday was tough. We were in a very strong pool of teams. We played Ludington first and it was 21-12, 21-7 Ludington. Our next game was Lake City the score was 21-13, 21-8 Lake City. Our third match was against Reed City the score was 21-17 Onekama and 21-13 Reed City. Our final match of the day was against Bear Lake the score was 21-17, 21-15 Bear Lake. The stats for the day are Mackenzie Warlin 3-8 Serving, 1 Kill, Alyssan Clarke 9-11 Serving, 2 Kills, Megan Schneider 30-32 Serving 9 Aces, 5 Kills, Emma Putney 22-27 Serving 5 Aces, 3 Kills, Serria Warner 8-15 Serving 3 Aces, Alexa Welch 5-8 Serving 1 Ace, Tiffany Kinn 1-2 Serving. Kirsten Bowers 8-10 Serving, 4 Kills.

Tu. Sep. 11 at GTA Our match against Grand Traverse Academy was again a tough one for us. Although I feel we continue to improve on running our offense we tend to forget the basics like calling the ball. Simple things like that lead to a loss. 25-13, 25-11 GTA 
 Some Highlights: Megan Schneider 8/8 serving 1 ace, Emma Putney 7/7 serving 1 ace 2 kills.

Th . Sep. 13 vs. Buckley Report & Game Photos   We won one of three against Buckley.
Th. Sep. 20 at MCC MCC has a very big team this year. I believe they have 12 girls, two full teams and a lot of talent. Our JV seemed to be a bundle of nerves for this game. We went two games this match. 25-17, 25-22 MCC. We played a third game for fun and Onekama won!! It seems that once the pressure was removed from them to just go out there and have fun, they did and they won! I am very proud of all my girls. They all have tons of potential. Some Highlights: Kayla Feil 6/7 serving 1 kill, Megan Schneider 9/10 serving 1 kill, Aly Clarke 11-13 serving 2 assists.
