NORTON SHORES — The Onekama softball team swept its doubleheader with West Michigan Christian on Saturday with a 13-4 win in the opener and an 11-3 victory in the nightcap.
“All in all, it was a good outing for us,” said Portagers coach Rob Johnson. “We played solid defense and our batting was pretty good.”
Onekama’s Emily Bergren was the winning pitcher in the opener as she allowed seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts in six innings.
