The Spirit Week Days
are as follows:
Monday - Seam Day (wear pajamas or ratty
sweats)
Tuesday - Reaping Day (dress nicely!)
Wednesday - Capitol Day (wear lots of
color!)
Thursday - District Pride Day (dress in
the spirit of your district! Seniors have District 12,
Juniors have 11, Sophomores have 5, Freshmen have 7, and
Middle School has 13)
Friday - BLUE AND GOLD DAY!
The Middle School formal dance
will be held on Saturday, January 26 from 4-7pm in the
Media Center. The cost is $5.
The High School dance
will be held on Saturday, January 26 from 8:30-11pm in
the Media Center. The cost is $8 for singles, and $14
for couples.

Tesserae will be sold
next week during lunch. For a donation of
one dollar or a canned good, a high school student may
enter his or her name, or the name of another high
school student, into the reaping bowl. For a donation of
one dollar or a canned good, a middle school student may
enter his or her name, or the name of another middle
school student, into the reaping bowl. A male and female
tribute will be drawn from each grade, 6 through 12, on
Thursday morning at the pep assembly. All donations will
go directly to the Middle School Student Council's
Portager Pride Packs.
Wall decorating begins
Thursday, January 17th. Walls must be
completed before the game on Thursday, January 24th.
Each class must also create a spirit poster to hang in
the gym. WALL DECORATING MUST BE SUPERVISED BY A STAFF
MEMBER AND/OR CLASS ADVISOR. PAINTBRUSHES ARE NOT, UNDER
ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, TO BE WASHED IN THE BATHROOM SINKS.
They MUST be washed in the sinks in a Janitor's Closet. |
