We had a
great showing last night, with 3 boys in the top
10 in SL.
We were able to edge out Bellaire in GS for
third place by 2points, although they beat us in
SL by 3 pts .

Week 4 was a
good one for us, we placed 2nd in boys slalom,
and 3rd in the GS, for an overall of 3rd. In SL
we placed 2nd!!!! beating out Benzie and
Bellaire. Glen Lake was 1st. The boys were
really pumped.
Madeleine Smeltzer was 10th in SL and 12th in
GS.
I'm really proud of the kids, they are putting
in a lot of time and effort to get better. All
the kids have improved, but Brendan and Maurice
have really come a long way in a few short

It was sunny
and 30 degrees and rock hard ice on the course.
We would have been better off using ice skates.
We just haven't experienced these type of
conditions this year, but it was better than
slush.

In the
girls races, Madeleine Smeltzer, pulled off
two medals. (they medal thru 15th) She got an
11th in SLALOM w/ 42.75, and a 6th in GS w/
36.77. I just can't say enough about how
Madeleine has progressed this second half of the
season. To be in 6th against racers from
Harrison and Mt Pleasant is quite an
