CARSON CITY — The Bear Lake cross
country team ran to a pair of top-10
finishes at the annual Don Baese Carson
City-Crystal Invitational on Saturday.
The
Laker girls (151) placed sixth of 12
teams while the boys (213) placed eighth
of 15 in their division.
“I thought the kids did awesome,” Bear
Lake coach Eric Ross said. “They had
quite a hard week of workouts and I’m
not sure if I was expecting them to
perform as well as they did. There was a
lot of (personal records) for both the
boys and girls.
“It was a pretty good day for everybody.
I was really, really happy with the way
they performed. It just shows that they
are getting stronger.”
