The Portagers (4-5, 4-4 WMD) trailed by five
points at the end of the first quarter but tallied 25 points in the
second for a 33-22 lead at halftime.
“We started pressing a little bit and got the tempo going,” said Onekama
coach Nathan Bradford, who was pleased with his aggressiveness on the
offensive end.
Taylor Hagen led Onekama with 21 points, seven rebounds and five steals
while Jennica Mathieu had 15 points and six rebounds. Lindsay Nesburg
scored nine, Kelly Koon had five points and six steals, Danielle Ward
had two points, six steals and five rebounds while Nikki Slater scored

Elana Hickok led the Bobcats (5-4, 4-4 WMD)
with 13 points, Sarah Costello scored eight while Sarah Colbrook had
eight points and nine rebounds. Annie MacNeil chipped in six points, 14
rebounds and three blocks, Briana Underwood had four points, Cailon
Modjeski three and Lexie Lakso one.
“We didn’t bring our ‘A’ game,” said Brethren coach Julie Riggs. “We
