Portager JV: 9th straight win!
Up by only one at the end of the 1st Qtr,
Coach Bromley made the defensive switch to man-to-man and that's all it
took for the Portager's to post their 9th straight win and second win
against the Lakers. Like the first game of the season, which the
Portager's won 65-31, this time they outscored the Lakers by about the
same number of baskets and when the final buzzer sounded the scoreboard
read 64-33. |
Bryce Reckow led the scoring with 19
pts, along with pulling down 6 rebounds and coming in off the bench,
Kieffer Brewer chipped in 14 pts along and cleaned up the boards 8 times
and Quinn Matthews connected for 12 pts along with 5 steals. Also
scoring for the team were Brandon Bohannon with 6 pts, Joe Eno, Curtis
McKenney and Derek Hobart with 3 pts a piece, Nick DeLeon and Mitchel
Clarke rounded out the scoring with 2 pts each. |
